ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Founder, Doug Gallinger is a husband, father, and retired U.S. Army soldier. Throughout his career, he has served in numerous combat deployments to Southwest Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, including Bosnia and Herzegovina. During his time in service, he earned the Bronze Star, Air Medal and Meritorious Service Medal. Doug also serves as a deputy for the Coffee County Sherriff’s Department, giving him nearly 40 years of experience in uniform.

 

Doug is a Patriot Endowment Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association of America, as well as a Nationally Certified Range Safety Officer. He is a Certified Firearms Instructor in Shotgun, Rifle and Pistol, Concealed Carry and Self Defense tactics and disciplines.

 

In addition, Doug is a Member of the US National African American Gun Association. In his recent deployments, he has become an Honorary Member and Designated Firearms Instructor and Trainer for the Kenyan National Gun Owners Association. Doug is also certified in TASAR and Pepper Spray qualified.

Doug enjoys shooting, fishing, and playing with his Rottweilers. He is a lifelong motorcycle rider, owns two Harley Davidson Motorcycles and is a member of a local Veterans Motorcycle Association devoted to helping fellow veterans.

 

Doug’s family is the reason he is fervent on firearm education, safety, and training. Ensuring their safety and doing everything he can to protect them is what motivates him. Doug believes everyone should find value in having that sense of security and he wants to help get you there.
